I was going into my third year of high school Spanish, when I got the opportunity to go to Ecuador and study at the Guayasamín Spanish School I was looking forward to deepening my knowledge of the language, but I was initially concerned about the challenge of the courses. After my first group class, I couldn't wait to come back the next day for class! The teachers at the school teach at a slow, easy pace so that there is room for plenty of questions and a better understanding of the material. The teachers at the school were so open and interested with all of their students, this caused me to have a motivation to study Spanish in college and possibly major in the language. In addition to the classes, outside of the classroom the Guayasamín School really helped me to appreciate the Ecuadorian culture. The Guayasamín Spanish School was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Ana Woods
